Designing an AI agent builder for 5,000+ users in a regulated enterprise
I joined a large-scale AI platform with no conscious design decisions in place - UI and UX had grown organically without a designer. I owned the complete redesign from the ground up.
I redesigned the chat experience and file behavior - rethinking conversation flows, message handling, and how users upload and manage files within agent conversations.
I redesigned the agent builder and introduced a shared agent library - where 5,000+ employees create, publish, and browse AI agents to use or get inspiration from.
I tested with 100+ users through interviews and usability sessions - continuously validating and iterating on design decisions with real people.
I collaborated closely with developers through Figma handovers and Azure DevOps, ensuring design intent translated cleanly into production.
